NCEA3 Drama
DRAMA (NCEA LEVEL 3)
Pre-Requisites: Level #1, and# 2 Drama or at the discretion of the T.I.C of Drama Dept
Five timetabled classes per week
Course Content:
This course builds on skills gained in NCEA Level 1 and 2 NCEA Drama courses (and junior drama classes).
It requires in and out of class time work, and further develops student skills in devising, improvisation, theatre technology, acting, responding and reflecting on theatre practice, effective communication and group responsibility.
The class could participate in off-site work at Toitu Early Settlers Museum Dunedin and will attend four viewings of shows at the Fortune Theatre during the year and could also participate in Fortune Theatre workshops and forums.
Assessment: Achievement Standards - 17 x Internal standards/ 1 x External standard (4 credits) TOTAL: 21 credits for year
